Short Leather Dog Leash (12" Long)

I have two large German Shepards that I frequently have to walk myself. These leashes are the perfect length for keeping everyone safely close together without anyone getting their toes stepped on. I have much better control of the dogs on the occasions we happen to pass their nemesis – a yellow lab – on our walks. The construction is very good, strong stitching and riveting. I don’t worry that these leashes will fall apart in a year…probably not in ten years. However, I would caution folks to check the clasp carefully before use. The spring is strong and the closure secure but one of my clasps had a bur that sliced my thumb. Fixed with one pass of a nail file but still, it was a nasty surprise and one I hope to help others avoid. Beyond that, I highly recommond these leashes.

Hi, I received my short dog leash yesterday. I needed it to keep my big dog under better control and during todays walk I felt much better having him so close to me. Regards!
