What is Dog Scootering?
Dog Scootering is a very effective way to create a great bond between you and your dog. The sport is set up so that the dog is attached to a non-motorized scooter that is able to be kick pushed as well. Your dog is attached to the scooter by means of a harness and lead line that is usually attached to a bungie to smooth out the ride and absorb the shock that occurs when you take off and speed up. This sport is much like Bikejoring, except that there is not a bike involved but a scooter. Dog Scootering is also comparable to Skijoring, except without the snow and skis.  Many people who Skijor refer to Dog Scootering and Bikejoring as "dryland" sports.  For more information about Dog Scootering and to purchase this equipment, please visit www.dogpoweredscooter.com
